After much speculation that he was dropped from TAG Heuer, it has been clarified that Tiger Woods’ partnership will continue, with temporary modifications.
In a statement to Us magazine, TAG Heuer President and CEO, Jean Christoph Babin says, “We will downscale the use of his image in certain markets for a period of time, depending on his decision about returning to professional golf.”
The decision to “downscale” was made out of “respect” for Woods’ “privacy” at this time. “We will continue to actively support the Tiger Woods Foundation,” Babin adds.
The 33-year-old golfer has been with TAG since 2002.
