Always looking for a way to make headlines, Spencer Pratt’s latest antics find him boasting of an alleged arrest in Costa Rica.
According to TMZ, the former “Hills” reality star’s people have said that Spencer was detained at the local airport for illegal possession of a firearm.
With the supposed incident taking place as Pratt was bound for a departing flight, he’s said to have been booked and detained for a short amount of time before being released upon surrendering his gun.
Of the incident, a statement given to TMZ by Pratt reads: “As part of my spiritual cleansing I?ve spent the last week living alone in the jungle, reflecting on my past transgressions, and working to become a better person. I had to live off the land, and hunt to survive. As I departed the country this morning to continue my spiritual journey, I mistakenly brought my hunting weapons to the airport. It was an honest mistake, and they sent me on my way. On an unrelated note, I?m not allowed in the country anymore ? but that?s because of the chicken incident.?
