While she’s currently occupied with “Breaking Dawn” work efforts, Dakota Fanning is reportedly in talks to take on yet another new role.
The 16-year-old star is following in line with “Twilight” cast members scoring other Summit Entertainment projects – as she’s eyeing a role in their upcoming movie titled “If I Stay”.
According to Variety, the new project is described as “a supernatural story adapted from Gayle Forman’s young adult novel.”
To be helmed by Brazilian director Heitor Dhalia, “If I Stay” follows “a gifted classical musician named Mia (to be played by Fanning) and her indie rocker boyfriend. Mia and her family suffer a devastating car accident, leaving the young girl trapped between life and death and forced to decide if she has the will to live.”
Still in early stages of production, no dates for startup have been decided/released at the current time.
