He had a well-known struggle with prescription drug addiction, and Corey Haim was having a rough time in the days leading up to his accidental overdose earlier this week.
Director Jensen LeFlore, who worked with Haim on “Decisions,” told press that Corey sounded upset during a recent phone conversation.
“That was the only time I really heard him down. His mom was all Corey had … He was focused on taking care of his mom. They were living together. He wanted to take care of her.”
Pal Angela Cullins added, “They spent a lot of time together. She was battling breast cancer. It was very stressful for him … It was exhausting, but he took care of her when she needed him.”
