They haven’t been together for some time now, and it is being reported that Charlie Sheen is set to file for divorce from estranged wife Brooke Mueller.
According to People magazine, the “Two and a Half Men” star will be officially filing legal paperwork on Monday – although few details as to custody of their twin sons are available at the current time.
In related news, despite what several entertainment news sources are reporting, a rep for Sheen says he did not partake in a rumored bender over the weekend.
“Charlie has not been on a bender despite fabricated internet reports,” Mark Burg tells People.
The rep added, “I’ve talked many times to Charlie and I saw him this weekend and he is doing well.”
Continuing to stick up for his client, Burg also mentioned, “Charlie had a quiet weekend watching football and he’s fine and will be at work tomorrow. Last night he passed out candy at his house for Halloween and tomorrow he’s looking forward to getting back to the show.”
