She?s raising her 15-month-old son Tripp as a single mom, and Bristol Palin is speaking out against teenage pregnancy by encouraging abstinence.

In a new Candie?s Foundation PSA, Palin urges the youth of America to be responsible with their sexuality rather than falling into the ?everybody?s doing it? trap.

Bristol asks, ?What if I didn?t come from a famous family? What it I didn?t have all these opportunities? Believe me, it wouldn?t be pretty. Pause before you play.?

Miss Palin will also play herself in this summer?s ?The Secret Life of the American Teenager? on ABC Family network. “I am thrilled to be on this show and to be a part of a program that educates teens and young adults about the consequences of teen pregnancy.”
